Week 1
July 28-- The session begins
July 29-- Minnesota Advocates presents its first speech
July 30-- Important working group meetings
July 31-- TNC business norms are adopted by the working group
Aug 1 -- Happy Swiss Confederation day!
Week 2
August 4 -- Most of the team arrives
August 5 -- Final team member arrives; an interesting debate on human rights treaty reservations
August 6 -- We present our speech on the Peru Truth & Reconciliation Commission
August 7 -- Hot, hot, hot -- whew, Geneva is in a heat wave
August 8 -- A very active day for the Minnesota Advocates
Week 3
August 11 -- Andy gives a UN speech on TNC Norms
August 12 -- We present our speech on Gujarat
August 13 -- TNC Norms are adopted; Signficant world wide press coverage
August 14 -- A half day of voting, then a break for the rest of the afternoon
August 15 -- Last day of the 2003 session. See you next year!
